During 1950, the five plants of The Budd Company turned out nearly
$300,000,000 worth of products.
Most of them went to the automobile industry, with which Budd has long been
identified as the creator of the all-steel automobile body. These took the form of bodies,
wheels, brakes, drums, hubs and stainless steel highway trailer bodies.
Another substantial Budd activity was building all-stainless steel railway passenger
cars, including complete trains like the Southern Pacific’s Sunset Limiteds, and the self-
propelled rail diesel cars RDC purchased by seven domestic and two foreign railroads.
A third field to which Budd contributes is agriculture, with plows
and other farm implements.
The Budd enterprises are solidly grounded in the industrial
structure of the nation.

We mat and frame original, vintage magazine ads...they are in good condition, but may not be perfect as they are many decades old. Frame outside dimensions are 15" x 12", and matted ad is approximately 9-5/8" x 6-5/8" (could be slightly different, depending on ad).
